ASCILITE is an incorporated not-for-profit professional association for those engaged in the educational use of technologies in tertiary education. ASCILITE’s membership includes practitioners, researchers and teacher educators, learning designers, web and media developers, IT Directors and senior managers responsible for institutional strategies and budgets that encompass the pedagogical use of digital technologies.
Our annual conference runs at the end of the year and the proceedings are published and made available via APUBs. Visit our Past Conference and Proceedings page to search for past publications.
This year’s conference committee includes volunteer ASCILITE members from across Australia and New Zealand. In a first for ASCILITE, we are trialing a fully community-led model, hosting the conference independently with the generosity and expertise of volunteers from across our membership doing the heavy lifting. It is an exciting experiment in collective endeavour, and one that reflects the values at the heart of ASCILITE.
Leading the conference committee is Dr Elaine Huber. Please get in touch with any ideas for this year’s conference.
This year’s theme was sourced by asking our 2025 conference attendees for their suggestions:
